Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor says that he is not getting married for the next two years.

While there were stories about him announcing that he would get married to live-in partner Katrina Kaif in the next few months, the actor dismisses the same.

A regional paper in India published an article quoting Ranbir's plan to tie the knot in December 2015.

The actor's dismissal comes not before girlfriend Katrina issued a denial statement of imminent wedding.

"There are so many stories about my marriage going around, but I cannot just get married because people are talking about it. It is about my marriage and I am not going to run away and get married or hide my marriage. There is no chance for a marriage either this year or the next," says Ranbir Kapoor.

But then RK does agree that Katrina is an important part of his life.

"I believe that when you love someone, then there are very different ways to enhance your love. When your favorite person is the best in everything, It is a wonderful feeling. As far as Katrina is concerned, when it comes to matters of eating, yoga, or life, she knows better than me. Her understanding and thought processes are simply amazing. The kind of life and career I have is due to her. She gives me a sense of direction. She is the best thing to happen to me," says the actor.

Ranbir also says that his relationships have never come in the way of his career.

"The media kept saying that my career is suffering because of my relationships. But that is not true. I have also given hit films like 'Wake Up Sid', 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. It is just that I do not have a Twitter handle nor do I have a PR person to clarify stories that are being printed about me. I speak to the media when I am promoting my films and that is the only way I can communicate to my fans and to the people. I would rather let my work do the talking and shut people up," says the actor.
