Looks like pin-up boy Ranbir Kapoor is rather miffed with the Indian media over how they are treating his “new ladylove” Katrina Kaif, especially since they broadcasted their intimate beach holiday pictures without even seeking their permission.

Why else would the otherwise suave Ranbir indulge in such ungentlemanly tactics, wherein he has flashed lewd hand gestures at the waiting paparazzi?

Surely, he’s miffed with someone over how holiday images of Katrina, dressed in a bikini, and him, in a blue shorts, went viral.

Reportedly, even the star kid’s legendary parents Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor didn’t particularly approve of their “leaked” holiday pictures.

Considering they are Bollywood royalty, they must’ve advised Ranbir to maintain dignity and refrain from reacting in public.

But, surely Ranbir might’ve found it tough to abandon his “ladylove” in times of crisis, especially since she published about her displeasure in a national daily.

And instead of being the gentleman, he is often portrayed to be, he decided to instead indulge in some dirty games.

His anger is evident in the numerous images that’ve emerged recently, which show Ranbir wear a smirk on his face while cheekily displaying obscene hand gestures at the media.

His "fingering" hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Indian media.

“His clothes change, his head gear changes, even the hand changes but his irritable expression and the finger wave is a constant,” reported the DNA.

“From his great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor, to grandfather Raj Kapoor to his parents Neetu and Rishi, they have all practically lived in front of cameras but no one has displayed such hostility and hatred for the media.”

Another media house – dailybhaskar – added, “We know you hate paparazzi Ranbir, but is this the right way to acknowledge your fans when you are getting clicked?”

Many Bollywood fans even took to twitter to broadcast their displeasure.

“Though I agree celebs do get irritated by constant media attention but Ranbir's conducts horribly,” tweeted one.

Ranbir had earlier flaunted a similar attitude for his screen image as a revolutionary singer in the Bollywood flick ‘Rockstar’, where he indulges in similar tactics to show his displeasure at the system.

Surely, he’s wise enough to draw boundaries and separate the reel from the real.

While love can make the world go round, in this case, it surely has ended up creating a lot of bad blood.
