Revealed: Jiah Khan's last words before suicide...

Call it a desperate attempt by her family to seek what they believe is cause enough for police to investigate why Jiah Khan committed suicide, or just desperation to let the world know why she did it.

Either way, what is a very personal and tragic suicide note left behind by Jiah Khan has now found its way to the press.

Emirates 24|7 is in possession of a scanned copy of the actual hand-written note that the tragic Bollywood actress left behind.

The note itself, according to our sources has been forwarded by her mother.

Emirates 24|7 is also in possession of an email sent by Jiah Khan's mother Rabiya Khan. The email offers a mother's reason for making something so private so public. The email begins: "Some sections of the media and some film industry people are speculating that my daughter Jiah committed suicide because of depression related to her career. However the truth is that it happened only because of the trauma and the abuse she suffered...

"This I know from what Jiah shared with her sisters and me and also from this letter written by Jiah herself that I am attaching here with which was found three days later by my younger daughter in a wallet box belonging to Jiah when she was searching for some poems written by Jiah to be read out at her prayer meeting.
I have decided to make this letter public so that everyone may know the truth behind my daughter’s tragedy."

The contents of the letter are heart-breaking and show a soul that is tortured and completely shattered by simply being in love.

As the case is being investigated by the police, this website cannot make any assumptions about who is the lover that Jiah Khan refers to in the note.

However, a trail of heart-break - from a Goa trip to a lonely Valentine’s Day to a birthday dinner gone wrong – Jiah seemed unable to process the heart-ache and pain and in the end it was just too much for her.

Bollywood in shock:

Calling her "full of life" and "high-spirited", Bollywood celebrities mourned the death of the young actress.

Indian actors like Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Randhir Kapoor, Kunika Lal and Deepak Parashar  attended a memorial service on June 8, 2013.

Her death was greeted with shock and sadness in the acting fraternity.

Bachchan tweeted, “WHAT ...!!! Jiah Khan ??? what has happened ? is this correct ? unbelievable !!!”

Actor Arshad Warsi tweeted, “Shocked to hear about Jiah Khan, she was too young to give up on life... RIP.”

Bipasha Basu wrote, "#Rip Jiah Khan!God bless her soul!"

Actor Shahid Kapoor alos tweeted, "Shocked n saddened to hear about jiah khan ... Very disturbing ... RIP ....may her soul rest in peace".

Anupam Kher, "Jiah Khan was full of life when i worked with her long time back. So sad that something drove her to take this extreme step.RIP"

Suraj Pancholi questioned by police:

Bollywood actor Jiah Khan, 25, who was found hanging in her apartment last Monday night, was depressed and heartbroken over her rocky relationship.

Police informed reporters that Jiah's boyfriend Suraj Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was questioned for three hours.

The last person Jiah spoke to on the night of June 3 was Suraj. Police have verified that they spoke over telephone a number of times, with the last call being made at 22.53 PM which lasted for two minutes.

A post-mortem revealed that Jiah hanged herself between 11 and 11.30pm, soon after she last spoke to Suraj. Her body was discovered by her mother.

Sooraj reportedly told the police that they were in a happy relationship for a year after they met on a social networking website. Jiah, police quoted her mother Rabea Khan as saying, was depressed for the past two months, probably due to the relationship as she didn’t have any financial troubles.
