Rihanna, Chemical Brothers 'Live' in Abu Dhabi; tickets on sale

The highly anticipated Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix acts were announced earlier today, with The Chemical Brothers and Rihanna headlining the after-race concerts in November.

Performing live at the du Arena, Yas Island on Friday, November 25 in their signature electric style will be the legendary duo, The Chemical Brothers.

The world-renowned leaders of electronic music will take to the du Arena stage for fans to witness how they have redefined the idea of live electronic music over the past two decades.

Composed of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, the duo’s synergy has driven their musical ascent from dark, London nightclubs into one of the most in-demand festival headline sets in the world.

Four time Grammy award winners, their infectious anthems have also garnered a Brit Award and MTV Europe Music Award; added to their accolades are six number one albums and 13 top 20 singles.

Organisers Flash Entertainment further announced Sunday, November 26 will mark Rihanna’s return to the UAE.

Performing in Abu Dhabi as the only Middle East date on her 40-show and multi-continent ‘Anti World Tour’, the modern icon of music, fashion and entertainment continues to break records and set trends with her musical style and intrinsic collaborative genius.

The top-selling digital artist of all time and with 54 million albums sold, the fan love is in no shortage and sure to follow the eight-time Grammy Award winning performer.

Entry to the concerts is for Grand Prix ticketholders only. Fans can purchase their F1 tickets at Yasmarinacircuit.com or from Virgin Megastores.
 
The lucky 100 who purchase tickets today will find themselves automatically upgraded to the Golden Circle, while those who nab their entry passes before May 31 will receive a 30 per cent discount.

The headliners of the remaining two concerts on Thursday, November 24 and Saturday November 26 will be announced at a later date.
