Rob Kardashian cuts back on filming

Rob Kardashian has reportedly refused to take a major role in the next series of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.

The sock designer - who failed to attend his sister Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West last month - has reportedly been ignoring calls from his family and has refused to be a part of storylines on the next series of their reality show.

A source said: "Rob has been holed up in his house, and hasn't been returning calls from concerned family members. Rob made the decision months ago that he didn't want to have a recurring storyline on the upcoming season of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and drastically cut back on filming."

Rob - who is said to be increasingly happy with his body after gaining a substantial amount of weight - feels his mother and manager Kris Jenner is more focused on looking after the business interests of his sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner than his endeavours so wants out of the show.

The source added to RadarOnline.com: "Rob feels that the reality show has truly ruined his family, and that momager Kris Jenner is always on the look out for the next big deal for one of her daughters. His significant weight gain has only added to the stress in his life. He has been working out but has very bad eating habits. He just feels very alone."

Rob Kardashian's ex-girlfriend, Adrienne Bailon, is worried about him and is thinking about reaching out to him after hearing he is battling depression.

Adrienne Bailon, who split from the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star in 2009 after two years of dating and later underwent laser treatment to get a tattoo of his name removed from her butt, has reportedly been encouraged to reach out to him by his older sister Kim Kardashian's best friend, Jonathan Cheban, amid rumours the 27-year-old reality TV star is battling severe depression.

A source, who overheard them chatting at an event in New York City last Thursday, said: "Adrienne was sitting with Jonathan Cheban. They were talking about Rob.

"Their conversation was intense and serious. Jonathan was telling Adrienne she should reach out to Rob. He seemed concerned for him.

"Adrienne looked really sad - she was shaking her head, as if she didn't know what to do or say about the whole thing.

"It sounded like she hadn't made up her mind whether or not she wanted to reach out."

Rob skipped Kim's wedding to Kanye West in Florence, Italy on May 24 after they allegedly had a huge argument about his weight.

The sock designer has gained more than 60 pounds since being dumped by British popstar Rita Ora in late 2012 and has rarely been seen out in public in recent months.

But Rob's younger half-sister Kendall Jenner insists he is okay.

The 18-year-old model told 'Good Morning America' on Tuesday: "He's doing really well."

Rob Kardashian tipped to get into 'best shape ever'

Rob Kardashian's personal trainer Gunnar Peterson is confident the star, who has been battling weight issues, will get into the "best shape ever".

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who has been battling weight issues in recent years, has been praised by his personal trainer Gunnar Peterson for his commitment to working out and focusing on his health, despite leading a busy life.

Gunnar hit back at recent jibes directed towards Rob, 27, who appeared to miss his sister Kim Kardashian's wedding last month because of body confidence issues.

He told E! News: "He's such a good guy. Rob was a solid basketball player, a serious runner and he's a serious athlete. It's when life gets in the way, that's what makes it hard to get to the gym.

"Here's a guy fighting paparazzi getting in and out of the gym. This guy is fighting through human walls to get to the gym. A lot of people have blown off workouts with a lot less obstacles.

"There's no doubt in my mind ... with 26 years of training experience of doing this, I can tell you without hesitation that Rob Kardashian will get back to his best shape ever. There's not one doubt in my mind."

The fitness expert claims Rob is extremely committed in the gym and is impressed by his determination, despite juggling his own sock business and pitching his own TV show.

Gunnar added: "If it was Rob on his own, he'd be in every day. He's pitching shows, he's on a show, he has his sock line and other business ventures.

"People forget. They think these people are walking around just being celebrities."
