Robert Pattinson has a new girlfriend! Sorry Kristen Stewart

Cupid has again struck Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson and it has got nothing to do it Kristen Stewart.

The actor is said to be dating FKA Twigs, a British singer whose real name is Tahliah Barnett.

This R&B star is new in the music scene and she hasn't yet sold as many records as the Amy Grants or the Terence Trent D'Arbys of the world, but apparently she has a future.

The pair was pictured heading into the Bowery hotel together in New York last week, and according to The Sun have been an item for around a month.

The newspaper reports that it's the real deal between Rob and Tahliah. They had been able to keep their relationship secret until recently, but they're already smitten.

He’s been taking her on dates for the last month or so, and has even flown her out to stay with him in New York. He also loves going to her gigs.

Of course, 28-year-old Robert famously dated his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart on and off for years and FKA Twigs allegedly doesn’t want to be pitted against her.

The singer wants to be known for her music, not just as “Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend”. She's worried about being bogged down by constant comparisons to Kristen.

Tahliah, who hails from Gloucestershire but lives in London, released her debut album LP1 last month.

The singer has already had success in the industry after releasing two extended plays in the past two years, and before that worked as a backup dancer.
