Salman, Bigg Boss desperate for some romance in the house?

Indian reality show Bigg Boss season 8 is clearly lagging behind as the famed eyeball-grabbing-scandalous house.

After one month of fights, shocking evictions and wild card entry it is still not generating enough controversy.

The romance quotient has also been missing, which was in abundance last year.

And it seems Bigg Boss and the makers are desperate to bring back the romance angle on the show.

After being evicted Sonali was brought back to the house.

From the word go, it was clear she was hunting for romance (on-screen).

We cannot confirm if she had any specific instructions from the production house.

But her sudden urgency to warm-up to Upen Patel, Aarya Babbar and Gautam Gulati, after being detached in the first week which saw her ouster, is a bit strange.

Sonali made peace with Aarya and offered her friendship. This peace treaty didn't last long.

Audiences then saw Sonali strike a conversation with Upen Patel.

During a task Bigg Boss asked Upen and Sonali to pose as a couple in love, hoping to see some sparks flying.

As part of the task Upen and Sonali had to marry, romance in the pool, tattoo their respective names.

Both the contestants played their parts well but nothing transpired between them and the romance ended when the task got over.

As Aarya and Upen were out of the equation, only Gautam remained as a prospective love interest.

Knowing how Gautam longed for footage, he fit the bill perfectly.

Last week, Gautam had enough opportunities to romance Sonali - dancing together and whispering sweet nothings to each other.

The actress was seen getting cozy under the sheets with him. As the lightswere turned off, Sonali and Gautam shared the same bed and were seen chatting up.

Captain Ali advised Sonali on how her parents might be watching her getting friendly with Gautam.

And the fact that they were sleeping in the same bed could add to their woes.

Sonali momentarily looked worried but at night she was more than happy to share her bed with Gautam.

RJ Pritam and Puneet Issar teased them for being girlfriend and boyfriend.

Pritam tried to push Gautam to accept his relationship with Sonali without any hesitation.

But Gautam remained non-committal. He later requested Pritam not to trap him and to stop setting him up with her.

Bigg Boss is also playing his cards well. During the Diwali party Gautam and Sonali were asked to perform paper dance.

Gautam was his usual flirtatious self and Sonali enjoyed the attention.

Repeatedly, Bigg Boss and the makers have been creating situations for Sonalli to get close to any male member of the house.

Now it seems, Gautam Gulati is the target and Sonali's hunt for romance might come to an end.
