As far as movies are concerned, Salman Khan is completely out of the radar in 2013. Barring his upcoming TV show 'Bigg Boss 7' which starts at September 15, he was absent from the big screen where he truly belongs.

But come 2014 there will be Salman Khan’s movie blitzkrieg against the rest of the big guns. It will be Salman Khan against the rest.

His first ammunition, 'Mental' directed by brother Sohail Khan, will be released during the Republic Day's weekend in India.

Speaking exclusively to Emirates24|7 in Dubai in May, Sohail Khan put all speculations about the release date to rest, "The movie will be released in January 24, 2014".

'Metal' is a rehashed version of Telugu hit 'Stalin' Salman in the lead along with Tabu, newcomer Daisy Shah and Sana Khan.

Next up Salman has locked the Eid date, July 27, 2014 for 'Kick', which will be the directorial debut of Sajid Nadiadwala.

For the past several years, Salman’s 'Wanted' (2009), 'Dabangg' (2010), 'Bodyguard' (2011) and 'Ek Tha Tiger' (2012) have always released on Eid and they have all been blockbusters and the biggest hits of those years.

So, fans do not expect to witness anything less in 2014 either.

Sajid and Salman decided that they will complete Kick at breakneck speed so that the film can release on Eid.

The latest entry in Salman's list will be directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Ramesh Taurani. The untitled movie is rumoured to be an action-romantic and is slated to release in 2014. Salman has delivered back to back hits ever since he worked with Prabhu Deva in 'Wanted'.

With Salman blocking all the major dates in 2014, we wonder how other superstars are planning to release their films or are all set to lock horns with the Dabangg Khan at the box office.

Shah Rukh Khan whose 'Chennai Express' is breaking all records will start work on Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year' and will be released next year.

Aamir Khan 2013 Christmas gift is 'Dhoom3'. Aamir’s only film in 2014 is PK (Peekay) which is been directed by Rajkumar Hirani Cast: Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Ram Sethi, Boman Irani. Aamir and Rajkumar Hirani had earlier worked in '3 Idiots'.

Following the footsteps of biggies who release their films during festival season, actor Ranbir Kapoor 'Bombay Velvet' is also going to hit the screens next Christmas.

Ranbir's 'Roy' is also slated to be released in 2014. This romantic action thriller will be directed by debutante Vikramjit Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar. Along with Ranbir the film will feature Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez.
