Salman Khan buys Dubai apartment: Click to know if he's your neighbour

Dubai is Salman Khan’s favourite city. How do we know? We met him for an exclusive chat last week and he told this.

Added proof now comes in the Bollywood superstar making Dubai his home - or at least one of them.

This Bollywood superstar has bought an apartment in The Address Downtown and is busy decking up his place, according to a local radion station he spoke to.

Salman was in Dubai promoting Being Human at Splash and he revealed to a local radio station that his apartment will be ready to live-in by next year.

Earlier, his brother Sohail Khan told Emirates24|7, "We are looking, in fact we have been looking for some time, it's just that this whole year we have been tied up and yeah we would love to buy a pad in Dubai, it's anyway just two and half hours from Mumbai."

In fact Sohail has invested in an apartment in a residential tower, Burj Pacific, in Business Bay, a central business district in Dubai.

Sohail reiterates, "For a second home it's beautiful, safe country to live in. As a holiday home you feel safe with the children, you feel safe with your family.

"And the security is amazing, the food, the people and the place is beautiful. But I always say that it's the people which make the place. And the people of Dubai are beautiful."

A frequent visitor to the UAE, Salman, on several occasions, expressed his love for the emirates and wished to invest in the country.

Salman and Sohail are not the only Bollywood biggies as they have many other stars for company in the emirates.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan has a villa in Palm Jumeirah, an exclusive man-made island off the coast of Dubai.

Bollywood's First Family - Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - have a luxury villa in the prestigious Sanctuary Falls, a resort-style villa community within Jumeirah Golf Estates.

The ranks of other celebs who own property in Dubai includes David & Victoria Beckham, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
