Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has decided to take over the direction of Salman Khan starrer 'Kick' from Shirish Kunder.
That resulted to a speculation that Shirish was actually kicked out from the project after his disasterous 'Joker' performance at the Box office.
But unlike other occasions Salman Khan came in the picture and slammed such speculations.
He made it clear that Shirish Kunder was not asked to leave 'Kick' project following the not-so-great response to his Joker at the box office.
"No, that's not true. Shirish left the film. He is working on something else. Ho gaya clear (Is it clear)? Good," tweeted Salman.
Just a day afetr Kunder's 'Joker' was released, he announced on Twitter that he is no longer on board 'Kick'.
"Sajid Nadiadwala will be directing Kick. He had originally envisioned the project and I feel he is the best person to bring it to life," Kunder had tweeted.
Salman Khan, who is the lead actor of 'Kick' was the first to respond to such rumours.
Nadiadwala is also producing the film under his home banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
Shirish has ran into lot of trouble with many actors in the industry.
He poked fun at Shah Rukh Khan which ended with a brawl between the two at a party.
Akshay Kumar, who was the lead actor in 'Joker', refused to promote the movie owing to differences with Shirish.
Now Sajid has taken over the director's chair from him.
Shirish has to recover soon from his failing movie making business as he continues giving flops in the Box office.
Looks like all roads are lead to dead end for this editor-turn-director.
