Salman Khan found guilty: Shah Rukh Khan visits friend late night

Bollywood actor Salman Khan convicted in 2002 hit and run case and the actor can get imprisonment of up to 10 years.

Khan has been found guilty of killing a homeless man in a 2002 hit-and-run crash after a night out drinking, before trying to get his driver to take the blame.

Khan, star of blockbusters such as 'Dabangg', was accused of driving his SUV into a group of homeless people sleeping near a Mumbai bakery after spending the evening in an upmarket bar, killing one of them.

The 49-year-old actor now faces a lengthy spell behind bars, a verdict that would bring the career of one of the Indian movie industry's biggest box-office draws to a shuddering halt.

Salman had a few late night visitors at his Bandra house.

Salman has many friends in the Industry, so a few of them decided to visit the star late yesterday (Tuesday) night and offered their wishes.

Shah Rukh Khan stunned everyone again as he visited Salman's house at around 1 am.

SRK was at his house for two whole hours, from 1 am to 3 am.

Salman and Shah Rukh conducted a public feud for almost six years after a falling out at actress Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008 and recently mended their friendship at Salman's sister Arpita's wedding last year.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been convicted by Bombay sessions court of culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the 2002 hit-and-run case with all charges proved against him and can face upto 10 years in jail.

Significantly, the court held that Salman was driving under the influence of alcohol and also did not have a driving license.

Salman Khan, 49, flew home yesterday from Kashmir where he has been shooting new film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.

Salman has completed much of the filming for both his movies releasing this year - 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' with Kareena Kapoor and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' with Sonam Kapoor.
