Salman Khan reveals he was 'thrown' out of Karan Johar's movie

Bollywood actor Salman Khan says he was 'thrown out of' Karan Johar's production 'Shuddhi'.

He has been replaced by young actor Varun Dhawan.

Earlier, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were supposed to star in the movie, but later Salman was roped in.

When Salman agreed to work in the movie, producer Karan Johar enthusiastically announced it on Twitter.

But a couple of weeks ago things changed and Varun's name was announced on social media. Salman himself broke the news on Twitter followed by Karan Johar.

While launching the trailer of his film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', Salman talked about his exit from 'Shuddhi'.

He told the press present that he was thrown out of the film. He also asked his lead actress Kareena Kapoor why she opted out of the film.

Kareena responded saying she agreed to work because Hrithik was in the film. And eventually he didn't do the film so she too walked out.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, Alia Bhatt will be the leading lady in 'Suddhi'.
