Indian movies stars often immerse themselves in promotional blitzkrieg just before the release of their movies.

Hopping from one city to another, sometimes travelling to different countries, visiting sets of various reality TV shows are common advertising tactics by production houses.

Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is set to hit the theatres on July 16 in UAE and subsequently release in India and elsewhere on July 17.

But the actor is taking it easy and not going overboard with the promotional events.

NDTV reports that he will not be travelling to different cities to promote 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.

Salman, who is out on bail after being sentenced to a five-year jail term in the 2002 hit-and-run case, will not travel much.

His family wants him to cut down on his travel plans and spend more time with them.

The production house has decided to promote the film via video conferencing.

The 49-year-old recently launched a special Eid song, 'Aaj Ki Party', from the film along with director Kabir Khan, composer Pritam Chakraborty and singer Mika Singh.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is about a man discovering love during a journey from India to Pakistan.
