It is being touted as the biggest Bollywood stage spectacle to hit our shores.

With a crowd of 18,000 expected at the Dubai Festival City concert arena on December 2 to scream ‘Ahlan’ Salman Khan, one can only expect a show to match the energy that will be ripple through the screaming fans on the night.

Joining Khan on the UAE National Day event is Bollywood diva, Priyanka Chopra, along with Zarine Khan.

Meanwhile, Pakistani maestro Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and pop princes Sophie Choudary will croon the night away.

Last minute addition of stand-up comedian Omar Sharif, will only add to the headline acts.

While the concert schedule is a closely guarded secret, a well placed sourced confirms that the opening act on the night will be performed by Choudary, who is expected to perform tracks from her latest album ‘Hungama Ho Jaye’, along with singing a few from her previous ones, including ‘Sound of Sophie’.

Salman’s protégé Zarine Khan is expected to come on next, who will naturally shake a hip to her songs from ‘Houseful 2’ and ‘Veer’.

But wait for it; her breakthrough track, ‘Character Dheela’, will only come on later in the night, when the young starlet will be joined on stage by Salman himself.

Meanwhile, Zarine will take a break from the gyrating to allow Sharif to rib tickle the crowd, while the next headliner, Priyanka Chopra, takes to the stage in a grand entry.

By then, if the audience are done waiting patiently, Salman himself is finally expected to make his presence felt on stage in a medley of his tracks.

The actor is expected to make four to five appearances on stage, one of which will see him shake a hip with winner of the dance competition held in Dubai earlier this month, while those who had been hoping and wishing for it: he is also scripted into persuading young Priyanka to take to the mike and sing ‘In My City’.

Rahat, meanwhile, is expected to take to the stage between Salman’s breaks, making way for the actor to re enter when he starts to sing, ‘Teri Meri Prem Kahaani’.

The source added that Salman’s brother Sohail Khan is actively involved in the creative process and the scripting of the show, and he is leaving no stone unturned to ensure it turns into a massive hit.

Special previews from the upcoming ‘Dabangg 2’ is also being suggested. But a confirmation is yet to come.

The film is expected to release in UAE cinemas over the Christmas period.

Can we expect to see a sneaky peek of the item song touted from the film, which sees Kareena Kapoor gyrating to ‘Fevicol Se’?

One just has to wait and watch.
