After dilly dallying for almost a year to hold a concert in Dubai, finally the busiest star of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has announced his World Tour premiering here in the emirates.

Shah Rukh along with Deepika Padukone is set to entertain in what is being touted as Bollywood's biggest live event of the year.

The world tour, Access All Areas, will kick start on December 1 at the 25,000-capacity Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Duvent, one of the leading live-show event companies in the Middle East, has announced three additions to the star cast - Madhuri Dixit, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Already listed among the glitterati confirmed to attend are host of popular Indian cinema veterans, making this a first-of-its-kind event for Dubai.

High on star quotient, production value and entertainment elements, ‘Access All Areas’ will be uniquely choreographed to ensure maximum performer-audience interaction, the event promises to be a day to remember for fans in the region.

The mega event will feature a grand entry for each star, followed by never-before-seen acts guaranteed to keep the audience riveted until the curtains come down on the final act.

In September while shooting for 'Happy New Year' in Dubai Shah Rukh Khan said, "I have been wanting to do a big, all-encompassing live show for a long time. It will be a highly interactive experience for the viewers."

Khan is giving UAE fans an opportunity to experience a 'live' concert concept and audiences can request the songs they want the stars to dance to.

"The audience can tell us what songs they want to see and hear through audience polls, newspapers, radio events that will start soon.

“We want it to be interactive, so some people who win events can come backstage and meet the artists and see what goes into making a live show.

“They will realise it’s not all fun and games and they will have access to some of the excitement that goes on behind the scenes.”

Omar Saab, Director-Commercial from Duvent said, “We are excited to announce that Madhuri Dixit, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez will join our phenomenal all-star cast.

Dubai can anticipate an experience of a lifetime with ‘Access All Areas’ set to redefine live family entertainment that packs in talent, glamour and spectacle for Dubai’s audiences just ahead of the UAE National Day.”

The event marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first live performance in Dubai since 2008.

In the run up to ‘Access All Areas’ concert, Duvent will host a number of activities throughout the city, including a Bollywood dance performance on The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence on 31 October, as well as road shows in malls across the city starting November 7.

Duvent has also conceptualised a contest that offers fans the opportunity to get on stage with their favourite performers.

The contest spreads over multiple media vehicles, rewarding lucky winners with backstage access and the rare privilege of meeting the performers before and after the show.

The tickets for Access To All - SRK Live in Concert will go on sale on September 19 from Thursday noon at www.ticketmaster.ae.
