Not every day you would find Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan reacting over random tweet, but recently Khan lost his temper and blasted off an imposter on social media.

SRK was so enraged over a comment he claimed he did not make, he found it imperative to clear his stand, losing it in the process.

Ever since Bhartiya Janata Party's (BJP) victory in the general election in India, there have been reports on social media suggesting that Shah Rukh had once said that he will leave India if Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister.

Micro-blogging networking site was abuzz with the news.

This is how the story unfolded. Small-time actor and troublemaker Kamaal R Khan, posted a couple of controversial tweets claiming that leading actors such as Shah Rukh, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan had promised to leave India forever if BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi wins.

But Shah Rukh strongly denied ever having said any such thing.

"Good time to tell all fools who r talking of a tweet that I didn't tweet, u suck as much as the grammar of that fake tweet & I'm being kind," an angry SRK tweeted.

With several meme generators available on the internet, it's not difficult to morph or Photoshop anyone's tweet. A series of fake tweets have flooded the Internet. Sometimes these are used for fun in harmless memes. But often, pranksters go a step further to malign a person's image.

An SRK fan , @TheSRKdisciple has now written an open letter clarifying that it was not Shah Rukh Khan, but small time actor Kamaal R Khan who had made the statement.

Excerpts from the letter: "Mr Kamaal Khan, trying to gain mileage without using fuel, adapted a shortened version of his name, KRK, trying to sound similar to SRK. Mr Kamaal Khan is known for his controversial statements. Some days ago, he tweeted: 'It’s my challenge to entire world that if Modi ji will become next PM, then I will leave not only Twitter but India also forever.' The pathetic part is, some illiterates (or literate hatemongers) could not differentiate the ‘S’ from the ‘K’ and thus began a series of unethical, untrue and immoral personal attacks on Mr Shah Rukh Khan.

BJP has already dismissed the rumours, clarifying that it was KRK, and not SRK behind the statement.

Realising the situation was out of hand, KRK tried to make amends for the trouble he had stirred up with this:

As far as the decision to leave the country if Narendra Modi becomes the next Prime Minister, it was Kamaal R Khan who indeed has left the country for Dubai.
