Shahid Kapoor gets a helping hand from Salman Khan

The charismatic police officer 'Chulbul Pandey' a.k.a Salman Khan from 'Dabangg' had to give a helping hand to Shahid Kapoor in 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero'.

The film starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz will have Salman Khan playing a cameo. Shahid, who plays a cop in the film, will have his first opportunity to share screen space with the superstar Salman Khan.

An Indian daily reported that Shahid recently shot for a scene with Salman over the weekend.

Though the scene will not have Ileana, the entire cast and crew of the film was thrilled to have Salman working with them.

However, details of Khan’s role are being kept under wraps as a surprise element.

The scene between Shahid and Salman was shot at a suburban studio where the two worked together for almost 6 hours.

Shahid Injured:

Recent reports of fire on the sets of 'Rambo Rajkumar' inflicted serious injuries to actor Shahid Kapoor, who has several daring stunts in the film.

The actor has reportedly sustained deep burns on his back and arms and needs time to recover.
 
The crew were shooting a fire sequence when the chemical used to create the fire went awry. It singed Shahid's shoulder and hand. It could've been much worse.
 
Meanwhile, the extreme stunts in the film are said to be a conscious decision of director Prabhudeva, who wanted to take it to the next level after working with Salman Khan ("Wanted") and Akshay Kumar ("Rowdy Rathore").
