Shahid Kapoor to marry Delhi girl Mira Rajput; bride says no

On Monday, a rumour began doing the round that Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor finally found his match and will marry a Delhi girl in December.

India's popular newspaper, Times of India, had an exclusive report of Shahid tying the knot with a certain Mira Rajput.

Soon other media outlets picked up the news and investigative journalism took over. It is reported that Mira Rajput is a third-year English(Hons) student at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi.

Mira's previous relationship also surfaced and her college report card was dug out.

Further it was reported that the two had met through a religious group.

Twitter also had to play its role as jokes about their age difference took center stage.

However, another exclusive report by India Today states the bride-to-be denied the entire buzz regarding her marriage.

Mira said that the whole story of her impending wedding to Shahid Kapoor was false.

The media house quoted a friend saying Mira has clearly said she isn't dating or getting married to Shahid Kapoor, who is elder to her by 13 years.

Mira did say, though, that Shahid is a family friend.

So is Shahid getting married or not?
