Mexican singer, Ariadna Thalia Sodi Miranda - known solely as Thalia - has posted a selfie on her Instagram account posing with a jar apparently containing two of her ribs.
That’s one way to achieve a slimmer waistline!
Teasing vines released by the singer about the myth.
Thalia has taunted fans for years with the suggestion that she had two ribs removed to make her waist thinner.
Last week, the 42-year-old reignited the rumour by mentioning it in an interview.

She then posted a video of herself on Instagram, holding her bare abdomen, with the caption: 'You think I removed my ribs? Yes, no? #ThaliasRibs #Myth'
Now, the performer, who has a strong Filipino fan base, has posted another video - of her ribs apparently pickling in a jar.

Posting it on Instagram, she wrote: 'To all my loving Filipino fans, here is the proof! I love my famous ribs, I kept them with me all these years! And the saga continues...'
It is still unclear whether the video was a joke.
Teasing her fans she posts the same picture with contrary statement.
As she continued teasing her followers with the same pickled jar picture but this time with a caption "Not mine ;)" (Along with a cross sign on the bones).
Rib removal is a plastic surgery procedure for a slimmer waistline in which the 11th, 12th and sometimes 10th ribs are taken out.
According to Plastic Surgery Portal - most board-certified plastic surgeons feel that rib removal is too extreme of a procedure to be performed for cosmetic reasons.

It’s nearly impossible to get the surgery done in the USA, so it’s often performed overseas.
Thalia first starred in a commercial at the age of one and has sold 40 million records worldwide.
The myth surrounding her ribs is set to continue.
