The popular playback singer tied the knot with her long time Shiladitya Mukherjee on 12tH February.
Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal recently tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Shiladitya Mukherjee in a quiet ceremony on February 5.
On January 30 as the secret wedding preparations rolled out, the singer expressed her nervousness on Twitter through a cryptic tweet.
"Don’t know if I'm super nervous or super excited.. Never felt like this b4. Whatever I am up to I will let u know soon;) but need ur wishes," she wrote.
But little did anyone know what she was really talking about, and her fans are going to be super surprised to find out that Shreya has tied the knot with childhood friend and longtime beau Shiladitya (techie and founder of Hipcask.com), in a private ceremony.
Shreya and Shiladitya opted for a traditional Bengali wedding.
On February 6, the singer broke the news about her wedding to her fans through social media.
According to her post, the wedding was a simple affair that took place amidst family and close friends. She posted a picture with her husband and said, "Married the love of my life @shiladitya last night surrounded by our families n close frnds, exciting new life awaits." (sic) On the work front, Shreya will be returning to the UK for her tour later this year.
She also acknowledged all the congratulatory messages sent by her fans on social media. "Thank u all for ur kind wishes. Too overwhelmed to yet express it all. But I love u all for the blessings u r showering on me n @shiladitya," she wrote.
