Sister act (or crash): Priyanka Chopra vs Parineeti Chopra

The Chopra sisters - Priyanka and Parineeti - are all set to clash at box office with the release of their respective films 'Zanjeer' and 'Shuddh Desi Romance' on September 6.

So, does it also stir up some sort of clash between the sisters? Denying all the speculations about competition, unfazed Priyanka Chopra calls it a 'Chopra weekend'.

"The way I see it, it's a Chopra weekend. So go and enjoy the movies," NDTV quotes Priyanka while she was promoting Disney's animation film 'Planes', for which she has lent her voice.

"She (Parineeti) is my family and she is my sister," she added.

Apoorva Lakhia's remake of Amitabh Bachchan's classic 'Zanjeer' also marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja.

The new age 'Zanjeer' also stars Sanjay Dutt, who steps into late Pran's shoes to play the role of Sher Khan.

Priyanka's two-film old and National Award winning sister, Parineeti will be seen romancing Sushant Singh Rajput.

The movie also features veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and newcomer Vaani Kapoor.

The film comes out to be a modern day love story which is not about 'love' or 'commitment' but what comes after 'love' – 'Shuddh Desi Romance'.

The film is also another take on the concept of live in relationships and the complications that follow.

'Shuddh Desi Romance' is directed by Maneesh Sharma of 'Band Baaja Baarat fame'.

Meanwhile, Parineeti, who is busy promoting her film these days, is also run downs any talk of competition and is looking forward to watch 'Zanjeer'.
