Spice girl Victoria spices Olympic closing gig

The 'Spice Girls' certainly deserve a gold medal for their performance at the London Olympics closing ceremony.

The girls reunited to give a performance of their life.

Their act at closing ceremony has been one of the most talked about gigs of the year.

They stormed the stadium on top of five traditional London black cabs which reflected their individual personalities and desinged by each girls.

The Spice Girls certainly didn't disappoint as they took to the stage in front of an estimated one billion sport and music lovers worldwide.

The fabulous five put their best foot forward for this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell gave it their all while Victoria Beckham at least tried her best to smile for once.

The five divas emerged to a rapturous applause as they performed their first smash hit single, 'Wannabe'.

Victoria Beckham wearing a stunning black strapless gown by Giles Deacon - managed to smile as the group dashed about the stage to the sounds of 'Spice Up Your Life'.

It was the first time the British '90s group has performed together since their reunion tour more than four years ago.

Earlier this year, the quintet came together to announce details of "Viva Forever," a musical based on their songs that is set to begin in London this fall.

It was Mel B who stole the show in her daring sequinned Zuhair Murad bodysuit, which showcased her curves in all their glory.

Emma stayed true to her Baby Spice roots in a hot pink mini-dress, while Mel C opted for a flowing white jumpsuit.

Prior to the performance, Emma tweeted: 'It's all pink tonight baby!!!!!!!

After the show-stopping gig, Geri tweeted: 'That was amazing!!!! Thank you all , we love you!!xx'.

Victoria seemed equally thrilled with the performance, and posted an adorable snap of the quintet cuddled up together on her Twitter page.

She said: 'We did it!! I love u girls so much!!!!! xxx vb'.
