Shah Rukh Khan, then man who gradually became more known as King Khan has come a long way in Bollywood. SRK started off on the small screen with serials like ‘Fauji’ (1998) and ‘Circus’ (1989).  And he got his break in Bollywood with Raj Kanwar's ‘Deewana’ in 1992 alongside Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti. This film was a box office hit and then on began the journey of this Badshah of Bollywood.

All enthusiastic to share his journey with all his fans, Shah Rukh is set to release a biography filled with memorable anecdotes of his life.

The book is titled as ‘Twenty Years In A Decade’ and talks about SRK’s journey from 1991-2001.“There are some very personal things in the book. Even though I could not pen down a whole lot of experiences, I have selected the best memories for the book. From 1991-2001, I feel in these 10 years I have lived a life worth 20 years. In short the book is about positivity to which even I adhere. Nothing serious about the book though, it is all written in a fun manner,” says Shah Rukh Khan.

This man of 45 has had the best of hits to his credit with the longest running movie of the Indian cinema, ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ being a hit SRK film. Speaking about the book, King Khan shares his favourite chapter, “My favourite chapter from the book is the one which talks about my parents who are in heaven. And with their blessings I have been able to survive and achieve so much of success. I have dedicated this chapter to my parents which is eight pages long.”

Getting nostalgic, SRK speaks about his childhood days, “When I was a little boy, I used to wear my underwear outside, put a towel as a cape and then jump from the cupboard, pretending to be Superman. I used to love comic-series heroes like Spiderman, Batman, and Superman and watched all their films. I think every boy or man wants to be a superhero for his family.”

Reading is Shah Rukh Khan’s hobby and for the sake of reading he would read anything and everything. “I love reading and want to read almost every book. It is my habit to read before I go to sleep. And then I read everything including the laundry list that comes at my home. When I used to stay in a hotel and couldn't find a book to read I used to read the instructions on how to escape in case of fire,” says SRK jokingly.

And now that he has turned a writer with this book, we wonder if SRK would want to try a hand at script writing. “It will not be possible for me to write a script. I do put in a lot of inputs from my end while my film is at the scripting level but doing it on the whole is very difficult,” concludes the actor turned producer.
