Sting, Bruno Mars and Metallica set dates with the UAE

Fans will certainly delight with this bite, as Sting becomes the next act headlining du Arena on March 14, with tickets going on sale today.
 
Organised by Flash Entertainment, music icon will return to the emirates as he performs on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi nearly a month before the iconic Metallica return to the venue, with what promises to be yet another sold out crowd on April 19.
 
Sting, who last performed in Dubai back in 2010 for the Dubai Internatkonal Racing Carnival, will certainly revive his The Police hits, while impressing the crowds with his rendition of ‘Desert Rose’ yet again.
 
Meanwhile, Metallica, which promised to return when they performer in the capital back in 2011, have come true on that pledge.
 
Naturally, with no new album in the works, those who missed out on ‘Death Magnetic’ and the band’s the performance of biggest hits should not miss out on the current revisit.
 
And if this entertainment slate was not enough to keep you kicking up your heels with glee, American powerhouse Bruno Mars is confirmed for his first Mideast gig on April 12, courtesy Done Events.
 
With hits such as ‘Just the way you are’, ‘Grenade’ and ‘Marry you’, the Dubai Media City concert is expected to draw in a crowd of 14,000 for sure.
 
However, the trio are sure to face tough competition from Bieber fever, as the tween sensation and recently single singer jets into Dubai for a May 4 concert.
 
Justin Bieber, who will be performing at The Sevens Stadium, is certainly facing a fan following to rival those in the US, with most of the tickets sold out within hours of them going on sale last year.
 
Only a handful remain for those still looking to appease their crazed kids.
