Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi have been paired together for a comic-thriller called 'Ghanchakkar'.

Though Vidya and Emraan's pairing was un-even in 'The Dirty Picture' but still there was an odd chemistry that the audiences enjoyed. After the movie became a hit, filmmakers are now trying to cash in on the hit couple.

PTI reports the two will be reuniting on the big screen for 'Ghanchakkar' to be directed by Rajkumar Gupta who had earlier made movies like 'Aamir' and 'No One Killed Jessica'.

The movie will be produced under the UTV Motion Pictures banner.

'Ganchakkar', played by Emraan Hashmi, is a story of an ex-conman who is laid back and has a taste for finer things in life. He has an ambitious wife, Vidya, who has her own notions of the world. Therefore he gets sucked into a 'chakkar' and has to suffer two thugs - one with a bad ailment and other with bad sense of humour. All this leads to madness, confusion and chaos.

Both Vidya and Emraan share a good rapport after working comfortably for a hit movie like 'The Dirty Picture'. Both the actors hope to recreate the same magic for the audience.

The film will go on floors in August this year; is a brilliant story factoring all essentials - comedy, thrilling, edgy, entertaining - a perfect package for a Bollywood entertainer.
