Salman Khan says that the only time he does not act the way he normally does, is when Sooraj Barjatya directs him. Known to be very hands-on with his direction of films, apart from writing and post production, Salman Khan surrenders himself completely to Sooraj Barjatya, who is now directing him in the film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’.

“When Sooraj is directing, you do not see me on screen, you only see him,” says Salman honestly.

Salman who worked with Sooraj Barjatya in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ after having been launched in JK Bihari’s film ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’, produced by Soooraj Barjatya’s grandfather Tarachand Barjatya, has also done ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ with Sooraj earlier.

Salman has been known to be working a lot more with family and old friends nowadays usually shuffling between films done by brothers Sohail and Arbaaz, sister- in-law Malaika Arora Khan and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, apart from returning to the familiar Barjatya camp.

Salman also returns to the YRF camp after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ with ‘Sultan’.

“I work with friends who are my family and if I don’t’ know them I will make sure that I know them.

“You cannot be happy and give your best. If you don’t like the people with whom you are working with it is difficult. So if you like the movie, then make sure that you get along with everybody,” says Salman.

Salman is now working again with Rekha with whom he shared space in his debut film ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’.

Rekha plays his mother in the film ‘Sultan’.

Salman’s salary goes to Being Human

A reporter following his boss’s orders was taken to task by the Bigg Boss.

At an event when Salman Khan was perhaps not in the best of his moods, the mercurial actor was a trifle upset when a rookie journalist asked him if he had doubled his salary to anchor this edition of Bigg Boss.

Pocket Hercules, who has a reputation of going topless, blew his top this time around.

“I have no interest in your salary. Why should you be interested in my salary?”

“I may have doubled or tripled my paycheck, but that amount does not come to me. Whatever I earn from Bigg Boss goes to my charity Being Human. So whatever I am earning from this show is being put to good use,” says Salman.
