Top Bollywood music composer Aadesh Shrivastava dead

Bollywood music composer and singer Aadesh Shrivastava, who was battling cancer, passed away in Mumbai on Saturday, Indian media reported.

Mid-Day reports that sources from the music industry confirmed his condition started escalating late at night and rumors of his death started floating from 10pm.

Hospital authorities then confirmed his death.  "Mr Aadesh Shrivastava 51-years-old expired at 12.30am on September 5, 2015 in Kokilaben Hospital," said Dr Ram Narain, Executive Director, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital through an SMS, according to Mid-Day.

Bollywood music composer Aadesh Shrivastava is in a critical condition and is battling cancer.

Aadesh, 48, is admitted to a hospital in Mumbai for the last 41 days for cancer treatment.

His cancer has relapsed and is growing at a rapid stage. He had earlier battled cancer in 2010.

His brother-in-law and composer Lalit Pandit informed press that the antidote of new technology that were brought from America have not worked much on him.

Chance of surgery is reduced due to other medical complications.

Aadesh has composed music for films like 'Chalte Chalte', 'Baabul', 'Baghban', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and 'Raajneeti' among others.

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha have taken to Twitter to share the news and express their feelings.
