Hold the ‘Applause’ just yet!

There's a crescendo of excitement and there are still couple of days to go before Lady Gaga’s most-awaited ArtRave: The Artpop Ball Tour hits Dubai.

Emirates24|7 speaks to few die-hard fans of the Queen of Pop who are ready to rock all night long at Meydan Racecourse on September 10.

One "Little Monster" describes the wait as torturous, another can’t contain her ‘Poker Face’ expressing her joy that Gaga’s finally headed to this region.

Yvette R , 37, Filipina says, “I couldn’t believe that she’s finally coming here, I’m going with my sister and we’re both huge fans, she’s so talented and inspiring and such an amazing performer, I’m going to post all my pictures on Facebook and Instagram.”

“This concert will be IT for me, it’s been a torture waiting for Wednesday,” says Ahmed AD, 22, Emirati, "I’ve waited a very very long time so see her but I only have a few more days to go and its driving me mad till I get to watch her perform! There probably isn’t a bigger fan than me I’m sure of it.”

The powerhouse vocalist’s baroque stage creations have often hit the headlines and her show at Meydan will prove no less extravagant as expected by her fans.

While giant inflatable mushrooms onstage, dancers with neon triceratops hoodies, and LED-neon hair extensions are expected, one follower hopes that they include a ramp in her show.

“At the concert if they’re also placing that runway style ramp like they do in her other concerts, I’ll be even more closer to her, and then I think I might pass out!” exclaimed Rashid O, 35, Emirati.

The comments echoed amongst more UAE nationals who are headed to the ‘Fame Monster’s glittering event this Wednesday.

Maryam AK, 30, Emirati says, “We have the golden circle tickets so we’re going to be close to our idol, and I’m planning to dance and take pictures all night and post them on Instagram all at the same time.”

“She is the Queen, end of story," explained Osama AF, Emirati, “I love everything about her, her music, her style, her personality, just everything about her is perfect.”

Aspiring singer Maher AK, Emirati, says he’s been her ‘Little Monster’ (a moniker given to Gaga's fans) since listening to ‘Paparazzi’.

“She is a legend, she is gorgeous, she has an amazing voice and I’m a singer as well and I wish one day I could sing and perform with her, that would be my dream”.

German resident Linda B says she’s dragging her other half along to the show.

“My husband knows I’m a huge fan of her and we’re going together, he’s not a fan at all especially since that meat dress she wore, but he’s going to be there to support me anyways! “

Not all her admirers plan to ‘Just Dance’ during the concert to keep themselves entertained.

SB, 28, British national says, “I know this might sound strange but I have a feeling I’m going to have a blast just watching her fans go wild! So yeah, I’m hoping to see all kinds of crazy things that night and get a major kick out of it! ”

With her costume changes, confetti snowstorms, disco-themed props, a theatrical and zesty affair of this magnitude may be tough for others, but for this pop diva it’s just second nature.

Gaga said it herself - she was ‘Born this Way’.
