Budding fashion model Kendall Jenner dropped her last name professionally in an effort to distance herself from her infamous reality TV family.

But it seems the damage has already been done and there's no escape being a Kardashian.

Radaronline.com reports that the 18-year-old was bullied by fellow catwalk queens during New York Fashion Week earlier this month.

But the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star is back in the runway stronger than ever.

At Milan Fashion Week she started by walking in Bottega Veneta's show. Wearing a blue jumpsuit and white sneakers and let her attitude do all the talking as photographers snapped away.

Kendall appears to have the support of one of the modeling world's biggest stars, Alessandra Ambrosio.

The legendary Victoria's Secret Angel posted a gushing message about the 18-year-old on Saturday accompanied by a snap of the two backstage during Milan Fashion Week.

Alessandra, 33, wrote: 'With the beautiful @kendalljenner #backstage at the @bottegaveneta show #milanfashionweek!'

The reality star's meteoric rise as a professional runway model has sparked the ire and resentment of some of her colleagues, according to a new report.

But slow and steadily Kendall is taking the fashion world by the storm.

Meanwhile, the model has revealed she must "work harder" if she wants to be taken seriously by the fashion world.

She said: "I want to be high fashion. I want to be taken seriously.

"People think that this [success] just came to me. But it didn't. What I have has almost worked against me."

Kendall also explained that her reality television roots had made it difficult for her during castings.

She added: "People didn't take me seriously as a model...I went on castings and some people weren't feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn't recognise me. I was like, 'Thank you. Please don't recognise me.'"

Kendall Jenner sure is as she turned heads once again at Milan Fashion Week this weekend.

The runway model brought more pizazz (and color) in an Emilio Pucci floral gown. With her hair flowing free and the use of minimal makeup, Kendall's runway look was easily a fan-favorite.

Kendall has had a jam-packed schedule throughout Milan Fashion Week. On Thursday, the E! star made her debut in Italy by rocking the Fendi runway.

Just a few hours later, she would sport a sheer white ensemble at the Ports 1961 show.
