Video: Ameesha Patel slaps a man for groping her in public

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel came in for a rude shock when she was mobbed by public during a launch of a jewelry store.

And taking advantage of the chaos a man touched her inappropriately.

But the actress dressed in a yellow salwar suit, decided to teach the person a lesson. She caught hold of him and slapped him hard.

Bollywood stars are increasingly coming out and mingling with the public - be it for promotional tours, rallies for a cause, visit to religious institutions etc.

While these gestures by the stars have been appreciated, many actresses become victim of unruly crowd.

Actresses have time and again become victims of sexual harassment by individuals who take advantage of crowds that often surround them in public places to act in an offensive manner. 

Whenever an actress finds herself surrounded by a mob, there comes news that she became a victim of groping or molestation.

Ameesha Patel became the latest to join this list.

She did not remain as a helpless victim of molestation and bear it silently.

Ameesha, after a momentary pause, realised what happened, got hold of the man and slapped him twice across his face.

All praises to Ameesha Patel for her quick thinking and taking action against such malice.
