Video: Bollywood invades Times Square, shocks New Yorkers

New York's crowded Times Square had no idea that April 13 would bring with it a Bollywood bang. 

At 5pm on a typically bustling, faintly grey Big Apple day, a bunch of young men and women dressed in sunny yellow burst into a choreographed dance routine, cheered by their delighted audience who whipped out cameras and phones to record the moment. 

The flash mob were starting celebrations for the upcoming IIFA weekend early, with a medley of recent Bollywood hits.

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), will hold its annual awards in Tampa Bay, Florida on April 26.
