Video: 'Revolver Rani' star Vir Das brings Indian politics to Dubai NRIs

Comedy was redefined when celebrated global theatre production house, Ashvin Gidwani Productions (AGP) brought Dubai the stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das for a theatrical showcase titled 'History Of India'.

In brief, it is the funniest, wittiest and sensational relook at India’s history and audiences saw the funny elements that have been a part of Indian heritage, from the cradle of civilisation in Harappa to the Vedas to the advent of the Mughal era, from the East India Company to the freedom struggle till India opened itself up to the world in the 90’s.

Vir Das, the star attraction of this hilarious rip-roaring experience had this to say about staging the play in Dubai, “I'm tremendously excited to bring the show to Dubai. If you love Indian culture, if you miss Indian culture or if you know nothing about Indian culture....this is the show for you!”
