Vidya Balan almost died under a train

Had it not been for Sujoy Ghosh, Vidya Balan would have had a bad fall on the tracks. Her upcoming film 'Kahaani' would have hit headlines for a major accident.

According to reports, Vidya was so engrossed in the shooting that she failed to notice a weighing machine on the platform and tripped.

She was about to fall on the rail tracks when Sujoy jumped to her rescue. Director Sujoy Ghose was behind the camera and could gauge what was going to when Vidya tripped so he rushed for her rescue.
 
Reports say that although there was a very tight security and all was going smooth, everyone almost forgot Vidya. The scene involved 'The Dirty Picture' star to run backwards what eventually led to her fall.
 
A humble Ghosh said that there was nothing heroic in it and praised Vidya for her professionalism even after the accident.
