The entire hullabaloo over the grandest wedding in Bollywood of the Kapoor and the Khan approaches its climax. By now everybody knows that actress Kareena Kapoor is married to the Nawab of Patuadi Saif Ali Khan - or not!

Yes, it's true; Kareena is not married to Saif, but Sajid Ali Khan. No this is not a spoof, but interesting nonetheless!

Wait till you hear another truth;  Kareena was apparently born as Siddhima - a name given to her by grandfather, Raj Kapoor. So Kareena is married to Sajid and Saif is married to Siddhima! So why on earth is the whole world saying Kareena is married to Saif?

Well, let us not confuse readers anymore:

Apparently, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's marriage registration papers have Saif's name spelt as Sajid Ali Khan.

Either Saif's real name is Sajid or his name has been misspelt.

Since Saif is a Nawab, there are possibilities that he may be officially called as Sajid Ali Khan Pataudi and Saif could be his nick name.

But a source from the Registrar office has a different story to tell. The actor apparently filled the application had mentioned his name as Sajid Ali Khan, he has also handed a certain supporting documentation proof by the same identity.

What's in a name, as long as our Bebo did not marry any other Sajid but her sweetheart Saif Ali Khan a.k.a Sajid Ali Khan.

Kareena and Saif always wanted a low profile wedding, after all Saif had his share of fun when he eloped with first wife Amrita Singh at the age of 21.

On second thought, it’s not yet been a year since Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Saif's father passed away. And so mother Sharmila Tagore wanted to keep the affair not as grand as everybody would have liked it to be.

Moreover, the couple has been living together for some time now, they just had to make their status 'official', hence saved themselves from the hoopla.

But for Kareena it's her first time and she might get some respite considering the holy matrimony is getting its share of the flashbulbs.

The registration may have been hush-hush but with reception at the Taj Mahal Hotel and Daawat-e-walima at the Pataudi palace and the guest-list with who’s who of the country, the wedding is by no means low key.

With the media attentions hovering over this marriage there are bound to be few bouncers. One such is a joke on the couple doing the rounds on social networking sites while a text has gone viral on WhatsApp and BBM.

Apparently Kareena had attended Saif’s first marriage with Amrita Singh when she was just 10-year-old in 1991. Then Saif thanked Kareena for her wishes saying, ‘THANK YOU BETA.’

As far as we know Saif Ali Khan and Amirta Singh eloped, so a wedding party would have been unlikely.

Another mean one on the couple comes from the Shahid Kapoor fan club: "The best revenge Shahid Kapoor can take is by marrying Saif's daughter who is 16 now, (ex-girlfriend) Kareena will be his mother-in-law.

None of these jibes will spoil the party for the newly wed couple for whom the party began much before the actual wedding.

The celebrations for the year's most-anticipated wedding began way in advance with a pre-wedding bash at Kareena's Mumbai residence on Sunday.

The wedding took place at Saif's Bandra residence in the form of a registered marriage on Tuesday, after which the couple exchanged vows at the Taj Mahal hotel in the evening and hosted a post-wedding party attended by family, friends and who's who from Bollywood.

Today a grand mughal-themed reception with antique props is being planned for the new bride & groom in New Delhi.

So here's wishing Sajid errrr, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan a happy married life.
