After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Katrina Kaif joins famous Bollywood stars at Madame Tussauds wax museum.

Katrina is the eight Bollywood actor to be part of Madame Tussauds Bollywood wax figures, after Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Katrina Kaif's wax statue at Madame Tussauds was unveiled amidst lot of fanfare.

The wax statue of Katrina in her 'Chikni Chameli' pose got a thumbs up from her fans.

Her wax statue though, reminded us of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's wax statue at Madame Tussauds. Aishwarya's statue was unveiled in 2004 and had a similar dancing pose.

Created in 2011 by a team of sculptors, hair, makeup and wardrobe experts, Kareena’s figure has been travelling the globe in a new Bollywood exhibition, which has visited a number of our attractions around the world.

On seeing her wax figure for the first time in 2011, Kareena said, "The figure looks incredible and is so life like, I had to do a double take when I saw myself – they have really done a superb job at capturing my essence."

Madhuri Dixit Nene unveiled her wax statue at the Madame Tussauds in 2012.

The 44-year-old dancing diva looks gorgeous in her saree avatar. Her stance and posture were very perfectly imbibed and her look too was matched with great skill.

Madhuri was completely involved in the creation of her figure, attending a sitting in Mumbai where sculptors captured a catalogue of reference photographs and hundreds of precise measurements to create this staggering likeness.

Madhuri also donated the exquisite saree her figure is wearing. The figure took four months to make at a cost of £150,000.
