Why is Parineeti Chopra ignoring Salman Khan and Akshay?

The vivacious Parineeti Chopra is always in her element, speaking her heart out and never holding back.
 
Only three movies old Parineeti has many reasons to smile. Her recent outing 'Shuddh Desi Romance' (SDR) has come out with flying colours at the box office. Not only is the film but the audience and the critics are raving about her performance.

In a career spanning just about one-and-half years, Parineeti has done all her films with new heroes such as Ranveer Singh (Ladies vs Ricky Bahl), Arjun Kapoor (Ishaqzaade) and Sushant Singh Rajput (Shuddh Desi Romance).
 
Even her next film 'Hasee Toh Phasee' is with one- film-old Siddharth Malhotra.

This actress is not eying to share screen space with the superstars (Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar) of Hindi film - not yet.
 
She is content, as of now, working with heroes of her age.

She is not closed to the idea of working with actors twice her age but she is not ready to play just the beauty quotient in their films.

According to Parineeti, she has been offered roles with big stars but she is waiting for the right script.
 
She feels the scripts don’t give her much scope to show her acting skills.

Parineeti feels that she has raised the bar for herself.

Some have even compared her natural histrionics and ebullient spark on screen to the likes of Rani Mukerji and Kajol.

Parineeti feels there is a certain way she is perceived given the awards she has fetched for her strong roles in films, where a lot of acting is required.
 
Maybe that's the reason she doesn't want to be in a film just for the songs being an ornamental part and not willing to be overshadowed by the stars.

Looks like the stars have to wait to work with this talented actress or rather they should start 'acting' to lure her in their films!
