JBR night Bazaar

The free-to-attend JBR night Bazaar will be the go-to destination for residents and visitors.

Street Nights is back to funk up The Walk at JBR, bringing with it food trucks, pop-up shops and outdoor art.

The bazaar will allow visitors to buy from a selection of different Dubai market's best vendors, before indulging in their purchases in a picturesque picnic setting at the beach.

Party on The Beach

The Beach party will be a week long event.

As part of the Dubai Shopping Festival, visitors to The Beach, JBR, can, this week, enjoy all manner of circus-style entertainment including unicyclists, fire-jugglers, contortionists and stilt walkers, as they lark about on the sand.

Tr!beca Comedy Night

New York's Tribeca neighbourhood is known to be stylish and trendy and attracts a young, hip and wealthy crowd.

Tr!beca Comedy Night (Monday)

With a line-up showcasing some of the UAE’s favourite local comedians, this new free comedy night will be held fortnightly.

R&B star August Alsina

One of R&B's strongest voices, August Alsina won Best New Artist and the Viewer's Choice Award at the 2015 BET Awards, and he is returning to Dubai for a set on Wednesday night.

The New Orleans native will be at Cavalli Club to dish up his soulful, intelligent and thoughtful lyrics.

Cavalli Club, Fairmont Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, free entry before 11pm, table reservations only after 11pm, 9.30pm to 3am.

Shreya Ghoshal at Global Village

Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal to perform at Global Village on January 29.

The show has been organised with the support of the India Pavilion. Ghoshal is known to sing in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi and Bengali.

Global Village is Dubai's leading family entertainment and cultural destination providing a unique shopping experience through 32 pavilions, each representing a different culture.

Market Outside The Box

It's your chance to snap up brands that are popular with the region's Instagram fashionistas.

This retail and lifestyle event brings together much-loved emerging brands such as All Things Mochi, Deborah Henning, Glam on You and Dee by Dalia, for a 10 days of shopping, music, dance, shows and cinema.

As well as plenty of exciting stalls and activities, there will be food trucks and stands run by independent eateries.

Naseeruddin Shah 'Einstein'

Celebrated actor Naseeruddin Shah will soon grace the UAE theatres where he will essay the role of the famous scientist in the play, 'Einstein'.

Penned by Gabriel Emanuel, and directed by Shah, the play will introduce audience to a different side of the scientist, with Shah taking his audience on an intellectual and entertaining ride across the various features of Einstein’s life rarely explored.

An offering of the prestigious Indian theatre group Motley Productions, the English-language play will make its international debut in the UAE this January from 28 to 30.

Piknic Electronik Dubai

Piknic Electronik is a family-friendly daytime electronic music festival.

In it's second season they have now announced Petit Piknic's full season partnership with Dubai-based art hub, Soul Center.

Every Piknic from 2 – 3 pm, Soul Center will host a free-of-charge workshop for parents and their kids to enjoy numerous activities helping them explore their potentials in different art platforms.

Piknic Electronik Dubai is releasing special 'Family Pack' tickets that cover entry for parents and their children (under the age of 12) at a price of Dhs200 only, instead of the original price Dhs170 per individual.

Family Pack tickets can only be purchased on the day, at the Piknic ticket desk with both parents present.

All other tickets are sold at www.platinumlist.net First release tickets at Dhs130 sold out fast, within the first two days of ticket sales.

Second release tickets at Dhs150 are available now in limited quantities. Third release tickets at Dhs170 will be available soon after. All tickets are per individual, and children under 12 years are free-of-charge. All ages are welcome at Piknic Electronik; individuals 21 years and over will be provided a separate wristband.

Cristiano Ronaldo museum at The Beach

Lionel Messi may have dethroned three-time winner Cristiano Ronaldo by winning this yera's Fifa Ballon d'Or award but Real Madrid star is undoubtedly one of the greatest football players we have known.

Now fans in Dubai can now visit a pop-up museum which celebrates the life and career of Cristiano. Fans will be able to see his trophies and personal memorabilia from his life in Madeira, Portugal, Manchester and Spain.

A life-size waxwork of Ronaldo is available for photo opportunities, as well as numerous pieces of merchandise.
