Yummy Mummy: Shilpa Shetty beats Aishwarya Rai, Karisma, Lara

Just two months after delivering her son Viaan Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty was back in action and facing the camera - shooting for reality show 'Super Fight Club'.

Nine months later this Bollywood actress became the epitome of fitness after being awarded as Wellness Icon.

Shilpa has definitely beaten other Bollywood mommies in their flab-to-fit race.

Recently, Shilpa Shetty was honoured with the Yummy Mummy award at an event held by Bio-Oil.

The actress also unveiled the Yummy Mummy calendar which consists of photographs of young mothers and pregnant women.

Shilpa was given the Yummy Mummy title based on a survey where 61 percent of the new and expecting mothers in India voted for the actress as the yummiest mummy in Bollywood.

The actress tweeted: "At the Bio-Oil event,just got the Yummy-Mummy award, 61%women voted for me.. so humbling:) :) Thaaaankuuuuu."

Although Hollywood mommies are far more anal about slipping back into their skinny jeans months after delivering their babies, their Bollywood counterparts are far more laidback in their pursuits.

But, they do eventually work back their hot bods - look at Shilpa.

The 'Life In a Metro' star, who is married to businessman Raj Kundra, is mother to a son, Viaan, who will turn two later this month. She credits her mother, Sunanda, who was also present at the event, for being an inspiration when it comes to motherhood.

Two actresses who embraced motherhood together and were pitched against each other in the battle of the bulges, post their pregnancy, was Shilpa Shetty and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

While the two had initially stepped in to support each other and happily accepted their new curves, it is clear that they are no longer on the same page.

Evidently, Shilpa has raced to the finish line to win the yummy-mummy title, leaving behind a still chubby Ash.
