Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall are planning a belated honeymoon in Africa next year.

The queen's eldest granddaughter and her rugby player husband Mike Tindall haven't been able to go away together since their July wedding because of their busy sporting careers but the pair hope to travel to Kenya for a romantic trip next year and have been asking Prince William for advice.

A source told Britain's Mail on Sunday: "William knows Africa very well and has recommended the Lewa Downs resort where he proposed to Catherine and which he says is the most romantic place on earth. Zara has really set her heart on going but the reality is she and Mike won't get a honeymoon until 2012 because they are just so busy."

However, Zara is planning to travel to New Zealand in the next few weeks to cheer on her spouse in the Rugby World Cup.

Although she missed England's first match against Argentina on Saturday because she was competing in an eventing competition in the UK, the royal is trying to find time in her busy schedule to support her husband.

The source added: "Zara is missing Mike - they hate being away from each other.

"She's planning to fly to New Zealand in a couple of weeks' time. She loves rugby and wants to cheer on Mike and the boys.

"It will be the first break she's had in a while and she's determined to get there. She is competing next weekend as well so it's a case of finding some free time in her schedule.

"She plans to go in the next few weeks and they hope to travel around and see some of the country together while they're out there."
