Golf community in Dubailand

After launching luxury towers in partnership with international brands Fendi and Paramount, Damac Properties has launched its biggest project - a 28 million square feet golf community in Dubailand.

Christened “Akoya by Damac” and dubbed “ the most luxurious Golf community in Asia,” by the a Dubai-based developer, the project will comprise premium branded mansions, villas, townhouses and apartments.

The project will include an 18-hole PGA Championship Golf Course in addition to a spa, boutique hotels and international schools from kindergarten to secondary level.

The fully-integrated community will include globally-recognised retail brands, leisure and entertainment offerings, a sports complex with manicured landscaping.

“We aim to make ‘Akoya by Damac’ the most desirable living environment in Dubai for aspirational professionals who recognise ultimate luxury,” said Hussein Sajwani, Chairman, Damac Properties.

“The development will bring a blend of high-end, five-star living, with unrivalled facilities and create a haven for families looking to make Dubai their home.”

“Akoya by Damac,” takes its name from one of the most exclusive pearls in the world.

“We are in advanced discussions with a number of leading global brands to make the project the most sought-after area in Dubai,” said Sajwani.

Damac has completed land purchase and has received all required paperwork, it said.

No details were given on when work will commence or the number of housing units to be built in the master community.

Previously launched golf community in Dubailand was Tiger Woods Dubai, which is currently on hold. However, Jumeirah Golf Estate is one of the prime golf community in the emirate dotted with luxury villas.
