Truck ban timings have been amended with one hour for the month of Ramadan

The ban of truck movement in the emirate of Dubai has been amended for the period of the Month of Ramadan, announced the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

The truck ban will be in place from 7am to 11pm during the month of Ramadan, which means a shift ahead of one hour compared to the usual ban period of 6am to 10pm.

The locations where the truck ban is in place remain the same and are on Al Ittihad Road, Sheikh Zayed Road and the sector linking them to the Sheikh Rashid Road (from Zaabeel Tunnel to Al Garhoud Tunnel), as well as the Downtown Dubai area and Bur Dubai.

Truck traffic movement is banned at all times throughout the year in Shandagha Tunnel, Al Maktoum Bridge, Floating Bridge, Al Garhoud Bridge, Business Bay Crossing and the Airport Tunnel, clarified the RTA.
