His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has stressed on the need to standardise the quality of health and curative services so as to gain the confidence of patients, especially those who seek treatment abroad.

The remarks were made in the first meeting of the Federal Health Authority at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of Health Minister Dr Hanif Hassan.

He stressed in the meeting that the authority would draw up proposals to be submitted to the Cabinet, which will take appropriate resolutions that will upgrade the healthcare sector in the UAE.
