Bollywood airport fashion: Deepika, Priyanka, Katrina haute off the plane

To look chic, glamorous and shrug-off jet-lag just when you are walking off a plane is no easy job.

Celebrities walking in and out of airports always look travel-ready (How?!). Or do they?

On your next trip ditch those tracksuit bottoms, go for a sleeker approach (a la Deepika).

Ever jet-setters take inspiration from these celebrities who know how to work the dressed-down airport chic look.

Deepika Padukone

Over the past years Deepika single-handedly has taken airport fashion to a new level.

She is often spotted in a comfy leggings and ties her hair in a top-knot.

But in this picture Deepika is in a pair of leather-effect leggings, a black coat, a pair of oxblood boots and a matching tote.

Her perfectly coiffured hair falls over her shoulder.

She was flying for her Slam! tour with 'Happy New Year' team and on her return she wore the same leggings with a pair of charcoal boots - snakeskin printed top and a wooly jacket.

Her hair and make-up was perfect. We also love her Lennon-inspired Ray-Bans. 

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is a fuss-free girl. For her airport look she loves camouflage prints, top-knot and t-shirts.

Zooming in and out of airports for the shoot of 'Dil Dhadakne Do', Priyanka was spotted wearing animal print pants, a statement t-shirt and leather jacket.

Her red sneakers added colour and balance to her outfit.

She loves putting her hair away in a high bun while traveling. 

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif always plays it safe and sticks to whatever makes a pretty picture.

In May, when Katrina landed at Mumbai airport after shooting for 'Bang Bang' she looked a far cry from her svelte self.

Make-up free, Katrina was in a comfortable denim and a pullover.

Recently, she redeemed herself in a checked monochrome shirt with white denims ripped at the knees.

Her make-up was perfect and hair in place.

Katrina finished off the look with a pair of laced-up boots.  

Sonam Kapoor:

How can we miss fashion diva Sonam Kapoor? Even for the airport she seems red-carpet ready.

Sonam and Fawad Khan were back from the 'Khoobsurat' promotion in Jaipur and the actress spotted a black lace trimmed dress.

Her shiny sandals, embroidered jacket, Dolce & Gabbana sling bag and long earrings finished off her look.

No make-up for this actress at the airport, but her choice of dress-wear makes for good airport spotting. 

Esha Gupta

Esha Gupta was recently spotted at the Mumbai international airport and her casual look drew our attention.

She was wearing a comfortable over-sized sweater but that didn't take away her chic quotient. The short white techno print sweater was in sync with the denim jeans.

Classic aviators, laced up boots, over-sized bag made her look airport ready.

Special mention: We have to mention Fawad Khan. Love his casual look and Fendi loafers.

Keep it simple - no over the top make-up, lip balm and gloss are a must haves.

Brush your hair before you land.

Compliment your look with fuss free accessories. Carry scarves or warm jacket for that cozy feel.

Being comfortable is the key word here - leggings, jeans, loose T-shirts, shirt.
