Dina Amos-Larkin was one of 5,000 students at the annual Saloufest – four days of sport organized by British firm ILOVETOUR in Salou, 60 miles from Barcelona.

Now this talented dancer is left paralysed from the neck down, reports Mirror.

Dina fell four floors from a hotel balcony in Spain.

The 21-year-old gymnast was talking to her mother on the phone in her hotel bedroom balcony.

Dina suffered a massive spinal injury and has been told by doctors in Barcelona that she will never walk again.

Speaking from her hospital bed, Dina told how she has been left stranded after her insurance was voided because she had been drinking.

The balcony rail was lower than her waist and she probably leaned back on it too far.

Dina, captain of the Angels cheerleading squad at Surrey University, was in a medically-induced coma for two weeks.

Spanish authorities had at first said the fall, at Hotel Jaime 1 in Salou, was a suicide bid.

But the gymnast denied such claims and said she had spent the day doing sports.

She had a fall out with her friends and was also unhappy about costume and room arrangements.

Dina's friends are hoping to raise the £10,000 to fly her home through a GoFundMe page after insurers axed her cover over hospital blood alcohol readings.
