Dubai's Casa Mia appoints new restaurant manager

Casa Mia, the Italian fine dining establishment at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre, welcomes Francisco Javier Martin Romo as its newly appointed restaurant manager.

Romo arrives to Casa Mia with an international view of restaurant operation and an F&B background spanning Italy, Spain and the UK.

He joins a highly-skilled and professional team led by Executive Chef Maurizio Lazzarin.

He has a passion for Italian wine. In a career of over 15 years, Francisco Javier Martin Romo has worked as both an F&B Consultant and Wine Specialist.

Romo’s extensive knowledge may be attributed to studies at London’s WSET where he earned a Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits.

The trilingual restaurant manager has a mastery of English, Spanish and Italian, in addition to a proven track record of proficient team building and leadership.

“I’d like to thank Casa Mia for such a warm welcome. I’m ready to build upon the strength and skills of the team and our best resources to further cement the Casa Mia name as an industry leader. We have so much talent here as well as an awe-inspiring menu and wine list. I believe there is much we can achieve,” explains Restaurant Manager Francisco Javier Martin Romo.
