Is your hubby lying? Dh79 for the truth

Whether in business, politics or love, wouldn’t it be nice to know that people around you are trustworthy?

Unfortunately, humans aren’t very good at reading somebody else’s mind and detecting lies, but there are ways you can spot a liar.

With proper training it is not impossible to know if the person in front of you is lying, and this is what police and psychologists actually do.

You really don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to do this.

A Dubai-based training centre now claims to train and equip you to know and understand if a person is hiding the facts, or not telling the truth.

All this for just Dh79.

A discount website in the country is promoting the offer. A three-hour lie detection course, which will teach you how to spot a liar.

“Involuntary gestures say a lot about a person, including eyebrow twitches from a nervous person, to unexplainable hyperactivity from the one who has drunk a cup of coffee. “Learn to analyse with a three-hour lie detection or body language course for Dh79 at Skyrocket Training – three hours of presentations, games, group work and much more,” reads the advert.

The highlights of the course include understanding how the face reveals the truth, eight of the most common lie gestures, evaluating the lying interviewee and double meanings.

The trainers say the workshop is useful for sales people, negotiators, managers, parents and for everyone who wants to understand why people use some of the behaviours they do.
