Pippa Middleton has managed to court attention after her US Open appearance as the guest of the tennis world's top man Roger Federer.

Pippa looked stylish on the 9th day of the Open on Tuesday in a blue, orange and green color-blocked dress.

She accessorised her block dress with tan wedges and a straw Kate Spade handbag.

According to the credential around her neck, Middleton was a guest of Roger Federer.

The 28-year-old younger sister of Duchess Catherine, who is working on a party-planning book, is currently in New York to attend meetings with publishers.

Dressed to kill she posed generously for photographers before making her way to the court.

Seated next to Spencer Vegosen, a Harvard graduate and accomplished tennis player, Pippa watched the women's singles quarterfinals game.

The quarter final match was between Samantha Stosur of Australia and Victoria Azarenka of Belarus. Azareka prevailed 6-1 4-6 7-6 (7-5) in a thrilling contest lasting almost two-and-a-half hours.

A tennis fan herself, Pippa and her elder sister Kate cheered on Federer from the stands at Wimbledon in London.

For once the action in Flushing Meadows took a backseat and all eyes were fixed on the glamorous Pippa Middleton.
