Playboy model's dad commits suicide after girl's nude shoot

A Romanian Playboy model believes her first racy photo shoot is responsible for her father's suicide.

Loredana Chivu posed in the Romanian edition of Playboy when she was 18, but said her relationship with her father became strained afterward.

Chivu, 25, said her dad became infuriated after learning that she had posed nude for the Romanian edition of Playboy six years ago when she was just 18.

Chivu had always had a close relationship with her father, but said that changed and they stopped talking.

Later she discovered him dead in his home, having apparently hanged himself due to the nude photo-shoot.

"He stopped speaking to me, he was pretty upset. I thought he would get over it and I never expected he would do something like kill himself," she said.

"When he found out what I had done, he cut himself off from the world and tried to isolate me as well from the rest of the family."

She has now revealed that when she went to reconcile with him a few months later, after deciding that the dispute had gone on long enough, she was horrified to find he had killed himself.

"He had not left a suicide note and everybody said that up to the end he seemed cheerful, and it was a complete mystery as to why he would do something like this," she said.

The Sun reports that, the loss and not understanding why he did what he did was a constant pain in her life and after losing the chance to speak to him about their disagreement, she fears that she will never know.
