Taste of Dubai celebrates 10 year anniversary

International celebrity chefs have gathered at The St. Regis, Habtoor City Dubai  to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Taste of Dubai, the UAE’s favorite food, drink and music festival.

International celebrity chefs Michel Roux Jr, Luke Thomas, Joshua Stanzl, Eric Lanlard, Reza Mahammad, Gary Rhodes, Mohammad Orfali, Suzanne Husseini, Aldo Zilli enjoyed the opportunity to wish the festival a happy birthday as they cut a massive cake ahead of today’s official opening.

Says Jason Harding, Complex General Manager, Al Habtoor City Hotel Collection: “Congratulations to Taste of Dubai! We are thrilled to be the main sponsors of one of the UAE’s most popular food festivals as it celebrates its 10th edition. It is sure to be the best year yet for Taste of Dubai  and we are delighted that our signature restaurants – J&G Steakhouse from The St. Regis Dubai, Namu from W Dubai – Al Habtoor City and Cookhall from the Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City will be debuting at the festival.”

Taste of Dubai will welcome visitors who will enjoy tasting their way around 24 of the city’s hottest restaurants for as little as Dh15 per plate.

This year sees the return of some of the festival favourites as well as a number of top eateries including Ramusake, Weslodge, Big Easy Bar and Grill, Aubaine, Burger and Lobster, Carnival by Tresind, Catch, Namu, J&G Steakhouse, Cook Hall, Sonamu, Olea, The Gramercy, Fratelli La Bufala, Abyat, Royal Orchid, Spice&Ice, Teatro and Lucky Voice, GRK Fresh Greek, Cucina and Carluccios.

Tonight, legendary soul and motown singer Billy Ocean is set to smash the stage from 9.30pm to perform all of his top hits including Love Really Hurts Without You, Caribbean Queen, When the Going Gets Tough and Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car.

“We are delighted to celebrate our milestone 10 year anniversary and be part of the Dubai Food Festival again this year as it plays a crucial role in driving regional and international tourism to the UAE,” said Chris Fountain, Managing Director of event organisers Turret Media.

“With over 160,000 people visiting the festival over the last decade, we are determined to put on the most delicious display during the 2017 event.”

Taste of Dubai returns to the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre for its milestone 10th edition from today to Saturday 11 March 2017. Taste of Dubai will run from 4pm – 12am today, 12pm – 12am on Friday and 12pm – 11pm on Saturday.

Tickets are on sale via www.tasteofdubaifestival.com or www.platinumlist.net. Standard tickets start from Dh49.50, VIP tickets start from Dh199.50 and kids under 12 can enter for free.
