Sudanese model Ataui Deng, 22, has been found alive in a New York City hospital two weeks after going missing.

Friends first publicly raised concern on Monday, when a fellow model tweeted that Ataui hadn't been seen in two weeks. Celebrities including Rihanna rallied to raise awareness and find Ataui, who modeled for her River Island collection.

'If any one has any information on this young lady’s whereabouts, please call the NYPD or email findataui@gmail.com,' Rihanna tweeted.

No details on Ataui's condition at the hospital have been released yet.

On Monday afternoon fashion and entertainment industry insiders, like fellow model Ajak Deng and Deng's friend Roble Ali, asked via Instagram for the public's help locating the model.

According to Ali, two friends saw Deng that night at a party at The Attic in Hell's Kitchen.

Grant Monohon was one of the last people to see Deng.

He had a romantic relationship with Deng, and tells the Voice the two of them lived together.

Monohon organized the event at the Attic the night Deng went missing. The model was acting "irregularly" that night, Monohon says.

It's only when Deng began missing her professional appointments, and other people started calling him, Monohon reported the police about her disappearance.

Known for her cropped hair and dark complexion, Deng has been on the catwalk for designers such as Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen, Catherine Malandrino, Sophie Theallet as well as Desigual and Bibhu Mohapatra.

She came to the United States with family in 2004 and has lived in New York City since 2008.
